Wax is Melting on the Jazz Scene at BHR1287

Jazz Bassist Paul Carmichael called into the studios of BHR1287 to chat to fellow enthusiast Frank Toohey today (17th April).

The programme went out live at 1.45pm for an interview that delighted jazz fans everywhere. Frank discussed Paul’s work with artists as diverse as Lulu, Charles Azanvour and Manu Dibango. Also up for discussion was Paul’s album “Wax Is Melting” where Paul had put together a wide variety of contemporary jazz tunes picking up elements of Latin, funk and R & B.

A live broadcast on BHR1287 made for an interesting afternoon’s entertainment.  We would like to thank Paul Carmichael for taking time out to call in at our studios.
